Advertising Coordinator
The Advertising Coordinator is not a formal office bearing role, however the Advertising Coordinator sources vital funds for HBA. The Advertising Coordinator is responsible for advertising on our website, in our monthly newsletter and sponsored social media posts by coordinating information with the website coordinator.

Website Coordinator
The Website Coordinator is not a formal office bearing role but it is essential to the overall functioning of HBA’s online presence.
Duties include:
The Events Coordinator is not an official office bearing role, but it is essential to the success of our annual conference and ensuring consistency and retention of information.
Duties include:
The Advertising Coordinator is not a formal office bearing role, however the Advertising Coordinator sources vital funds for HBA. The Advertising Coordinator is responsible for advertising on our website, in our monthly newsletter and sponsored social media posts by coordinating information with the website coordinator.
Duties include:
- Develop and maintain our advertising guide- including pricing.
- Find and contact business that may be suitable for advertising with HBAhowever the Advertising Coordinator sources vital funds for HBA
- Liaise with Businesses to coordinate advertising: get invoices drawn up, collect all materials in the correct sizes to upload to site. Approve ad copy.
- Maintain spreadsheet of current advertisers; Ensure businesses get opportunity to renew
- Manage sponsored social media posts.
- Coordinate social media shout outs by sending advertisers information to social media coordinator
- Attend all monthly committee meetings
- Find sponsors for annual homebirth conference (includes gathering offerings for conference attendees in the form of discount codes, etc)
- Keep in regular contact and liaise with committee via HBA committee facebook group, monthly meeting or email
Website Coordinator
The Website Coordinator is not a formal office bearing role but it is essential to the overall functioning of HBA’s online presence.
Duties include:
- Manage website user access
- Train website users; show how to use blog or update shop items as necessary etc.
- Liaise with a Web Developer for harder issues
- Update website as needed
- Update midwife directory
- Update advertisements on website
- Set up and manage google adwords and analytics
- Attend all monthly committee meetings
- Keep in regular contact and liaise with committee via HBA committee facebook group, monthly meeting or email
The Events Coordinator is not an official office bearing role, but it is essential to the success of our annual conference and ensuring consistency and retention of information.
Duties include:
- Coordinating local committees to assist with tasks relating to conference, including sourcing venues, speakers, brainstorming themes and activities, etc
- Liaising with the Advertising Coordinator in relation to event sponsors and prize giveaways
- Liaising with the Social Media Coordinator , Communications Officer and Website Coordinator to promote events
- Arranging tech support for virtual events
- Attend all monthly committee meetings
- Keep in regular contact and liaise with committee via HBA committee facebook group, monthly meeting or email
